With stock kept on the premises, the client required a reliable integrated fire and security system that would ensure the protection of their assets, whilst making the store as difficult to target as possible.
The client required a system to protect the warehouse and its contents by providing the earliest possible warning of fire. The system needed to extend across the entire premises and be controlled via a control panel.
Following a inspection of the security equipment in use, our engineers worked closely with the university’s estates and facilities team to ensure our maintenance proposal met with their specification and criteria.
We have maintained the fire alarm, intruder alarm and CCTV system for over ten years. As part of its maintenance contract, we begun advising the company on its options for upgrading the system.
We designed a passive fire solution that met the highest life-safety standards and of course all legal requirements. This worked seamlessly to prevent or slow the spread of fire, limiting any damage.
